The North Hatley Antique & Folk Art Show is presented by the North Hatley Recreation Society.

The North Hatley Recreation Society (NHRS) provides a full range of much need recreational activities to North Hatley, Canton de Hatley and other surrounding communities. NHRS provides public access to Lake Massawippi, swimming, sailing, kayak, tennis, yoga and many other organized activities to citizens of all ages.  This is all done at a rate that all families can afford.

Some programs such as the hockey rink and skating surface located in North Hatley are provided for public use at no charge. New for 2008, the North Hatley Recreation Society will organize, manage and present for free the very popular summer concerts series in Dreamland Park. 

In addition to our programs we also create eight summer jobs for youth in the area.

As a non-profit volunteer organization we receive about one third of our funding from the area municipalities and the other two thirds comes from our fund raising efforts.  As a well-established organization we steward our resources carefully but it is always a challenge to find new sources of funding.  The proceeds from the Antique Show will go a long way toward establishing exciting new programs and facilities.
